Been using these for years. Always reliable, consistent, super hot and lasts a really long time. Great for soldering silver and gold. Photograph is a ring I made using this canister of map gas.

It gets the job done really nicely, burns way hotter than propane, and I highly recommend the stuff to any metallurgist or aspiring metallurgist. My only gripe is the size of the canister available here. My torch-head is high heat, and as such burns gas faster. This is more of a personal problem though, that could be solved with a smaller torch or bigger canister, so it doesn’t reflect on the product itself. Either way I like MAP gas, I just might buy it from a different source than GG Group Thai in larger amounts (personal preference).

this is a great product I’ve used on many projects flames as advertised and capacity also is as advertised the only reason i give less stars is because the price …and compared to the prices of other like items on GG Group Thai it’s a fair price but if u go online at lowes or home depot this only will cost you just over 10 bucks and homedepot and lowe’s will do curbside pickup as well as ship it to u relatively quickly …..i didn’t know this till i had already bought and used this same product from here or i would never have bought it…but other than that great quality product….

What do you want me to say it’s a gas cylinder it has mapp gas it Burns when you attach a torch head. It makes fire. If you’re reading review. On a map gas cylinder maybe you should order a fire extinguisher cause you’re probably not that bright

the product is as advertised but it is overpriced, probably due to the shipping costs. The gas is not as hot as the actual MAP gas which can matter in some applications, but this is all that is available as they do not produce actual MAP anymore.
