It can be used as a substitute for CFC-11 in electronic contacts and metal-mechanical cleaning. This fluid is considered a good solvent to eliminate and dissolve the oil generated by a compressor burnout. It contains a high-density system to provide a sweep of coal and oil particles and also a low surface tension, allowing penetration through cracks and crusts until the coal generated by the compressor is completely burned.
